Level 3 Diploma Business Administration

The TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration is an educational program that is formally recognized and regulated by Ofqual.

Objective of the Qualification 

This specialised diploma in Business Administration aspires to nurture learners’ expertise and recognition in areas related to various business administration roles. It is an ideal program for individuals engaged in diverse administrative roles such as administrative executives or officers, team leaders, personal assistants, and secretaries, including those in legal and medical fields. 

The qualification intends to equip learners with a comprehensive array of skills, knowledge, and competencies that are instrumental in supporting business systems, processes, and services, thereby facilitating enhanced efficiency and productivity in businesses. Learners will acquire proficiency in various areas including, but not limited to, software usage, business document analysis and presentation, project management, communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and reflective learning. The program offers the flexibility to earn a more business-centric qualification by opting for business-specific units. 

Admission Criteria

There are no pre-set entry requirements; however, aspirants should ideally possess a minimum level two proficiency in literacy and numeracy, or its equivalent. While experience in a business or administrative role could be advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. The program is open to all individuals aged 16 years and above.

Career Progression

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners can pursue a range of advanced apprenticeship qualifications in management or customer service, such as the Level 3 Diploma in Management or Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service. Additionally, this qualification opens avenues to managerial or supervisory job roles. 

Program Structure

To attain the Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration, learners must earn a minimum of 58 credits, distributed as follows: 27 credits from the Mandatory Group, a minimum of 13 credits from Optional Units Group A, a maximum of 10 credits from Optional Units Group B, and a maximum of 8 credits from Optional Units Group C. At least 40 credits should be earned at level 3 or above.
